Psychotherapy

Individual Therapy for Children, Teens & Adults

Therapy provides a safe and supportive space to talk through what you're experiencing, better understand your emotions and behaviors, and work toward meaningful change.

Our therapists work with children, teens, and adults experiencing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, behavioral challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions.

Treatment is individualized to each client. Your therapist will work with you to understand your concerns, identify goals, and determine an approach that fits your needs.

CHILD & ADOLESCENT THERAPY

Helping Children & Teens Navigate Life's Challenges

Children and teenagers may experience difficult emotions and situations without always having the words or skills to explain what they're going through.

Therapy can give young clients a safe place to express themselves, develop healthy coping skills, build emotional awareness, and work through challenges with the support of a trusted professional. We support children and teens experiencing concerns such as:

  • Anxiety and excessive worry
  • Trauma and difficult experiences
  • Behavioral challenges
  • Emotional regulation difficulties
  • Depression and mood concerns
  • School and social challenges
  • Family changes and life transitions

Our therapists use developmentally appropriate approaches to help young clients feel comfortable, understood, and supported throughout the therapeutic process.

Trauma-Focused Care

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

Traumatic experiences can affect how children and adolescents understand themselves, their relationships, and the world around them.

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is an evidence-based treatment approach designed to help children and adolescents who have experienced trauma. It incorporates the child and caregiver into treatment and focuses on building healthy coping skills, processing traumatic experiences, and reducing trauma-related difficulties.

Our practice provides TF-CBT for eligible clients, with care tailored to the individual needs of the child and family.

Behavioral Health

Problematic Sexualized Behaviors–Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (PSB-CBT)

When a child or adolescent displays sexualized behaviors that are concerning or not developmentally appropriate, parents and caregivers may feel unsure about what to do next.

Problematic Sexualized Behaviors–Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (PSB-CBT) is a specialized, evidence-based treatment approach designed to address problematic sexualized behaviors in children and adolescents.

Treatment focuses on helping children develop appropriate boundaries and behaviors while supporting caregivers with the knowledge and skills to create a safe, supportive environment.

Our clinicians have received specialized certification in PSB-CBT and provide care that is developmentally appropriate, supportive, and focused on the needs of both the child and their caregivers.

Family Therapy

Strengthening Communication & Relationships

When a family is going through a difficult time, everyone can be affected.

Family therapy provides a supportive environment where family members can communicate openly, better understand one another, address ongoing concerns, and work toward healthier relationships.

The focus of family therapy will depend on your family's needs and may include communication, conflict, parenting concerns, behavioral challenges, major life changes, or other difficulties affecting the family.

CLINICAL ASSESSMENTS

Comprehensive Clinical Assessments

Sometimes the first step is gaining a clearer understanding of what's happening.

Our comprehensive clinical assessments are designed to gather information about an individual's emotional, behavioral, and psychological functioning. The information gathered can help provide a better understanding of current concerns and guide recommendations for appropriate support and treatment.

TELEHEALTH

Therapy From the Comfort of Your Own Space

For eligible clients, telehealth provides the flexibility to meet with your therapist virtually when attending an in-person appointment isn't convenient.

Telehealth can be a helpful option for clients who prefer meeting from home or need additional flexibility in their schedule.
